Spring’s here, new shows, music and poetry!
Happy Spring! April is National Poetry Month, Record Store Day and Independent Bookstore Month and we’re celebrating all 3! It’s also Earth Day! Our next show is a return to The Congregation in Detroit on Saturday, April 23rd from 6 to 7:30 pm where we’ll perform a duo set of music and poetry. And we have special vinyl and the book, and some surprises. https://thecongregationdetroit.com Then we’re back with our full band and The Orbitsuns on Saturday night, May 14, 2022 at The Cadieux Cafe. http://www.cadieuxcafe.com. It’s sure an honor to be playing music after decades and grateful to be out there again. There are some big wow shows coming up this summer while we continue to record the new album and much more coming soon. Stay tuned, and love to Spring, everywhere. And please – no more war!
Love,

Striho continues to share her brilliance, effortlessly moving from bluesy and jazzy to belted out rock & roll. Her latest release, Afterthought, showcases all of these styles, along with a few more that might surprise people. The musical poetry is undeniably Striho however, and she manages to pull everything together with the ease of a seasoned pro and the flair of a master illusionist. She makes her own creative path and people can’t help but follow where she leads…
“Afterthought moves through a host of musical moods, from the moodier, darker vibe of the opening title track to exotic gypsy-rock feel of “Russian Inn” to the lively, driving sound of “Love Won’t Stay Close” which you can hear exclusively for now in this Freep First Spin debut.”
